Edge Grain Boards

Edge grain (or Face grain) cutting boards are where the grain of the wood runs along the length of the board. These are the most common type of cutting board and the sizes here are typically around 12.5 inches wide and 17 inches long.

End Grain Boards

End grain cutting boards are constructed with the grain running from the back of the board to the front (or vice versa). They tend to be preferred over edge grain boards because a knife blade cutting on the boards cuts between the wood fibers not across as with the edge grain boards.

Other Types of Board

This selection covers other styles of board we make including cheese (charcuterie) boards, bread boards, onion boards etc.
